Theodore Chestnutt is a native of Brooklyn, New York and is a singer, songwriter, producer, his musical background experience includes singing in the church choir, various small ensembles, and praise and worship teams. In 2006, he released his first Independent Gospel CD titled
“Spiritual Beginnings”.
In 2009, he was afforded the opportunity to shoot a two-part music video titled “Time To Worship.” However, in that same year, he went through one of the most difficult and challenging times in his life, and the full project was never released.
Theodore lost three family members within a short period of time, one of them was his father, who lost his battle with stage four cancer. As a result, he found himself in a dark place and was diagnosed with anxiety and depression.
On September 15, 2025 at 9 PM ET, Theodore will be talking with Host Diandra about his release a doubled titled song named A Man’s Cry A Sound of Maturity. He considers this to be his testimonial legacy song for the upcoming generation of men and beyond. This song was birthed with the intentions of letting men know that it’s ok to cry, it’s ok to reach out for help. For with God, a strong woman and family by your side you can make it.
